The Regional Natural Park of the Julian Prealps has developed two innovative solutions to promote and enhance the territory: the mobile app and the virtual tour of the geological trail of Foran dal Mus (Mount Canin).
The mobile app provides visitors with a personalized guide through points of interest and specific audio tracks for adults and children. Thanks to the fictional character Pernix the Partridge, younger visitors can discover the area in a fun and engaging way. Additionally, the map section allows viewing the entire route and accessing detailed information for each point of interest.
The virtual tour, on the other hand, is an immersive and multimedia experience that allows everyone to discover the geology and the territory in an innovative way. Thanks to drone aerial footage and short documentary videos produced by researchers and scientists, visitors can explore the area as if they were there, interacting with the elements of the territory and deepening their understanding of various geological aspects and phenomena.
Both solutions were developed by Divulgando srl in collaboration with Andrea Mocchiutti and Renato Roberto Colucci and are accessible from desktop computers, smartphones, and VR headsets. The virtual tour is also available on the website of the Regional Natural Park of the Julian Prealps, while the mobile app is a handy pocket guide to carry with you during the visit.
